Privacy policy
This site does one thing: it collects email addresses for a waitlist. It has no user accounts, no tracking profiles, and no advertising. What follows describes exactly what is processed and why.

Waitlist signup
When you submit the form we process your email address, the fact that you consented to be contacted, and the time you confirmed it. The purpose is to send you a single notification when Betweenloops is released. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
We use double opt-in. After submitting the form you receive one email with a confirmation link. Until you open that link your address stays inactive and nothing further is sent. If you never confirm, you will not hear from us again.
You can withdraw your consent at any time under Art. 7(3) GDPR, with effect for the future. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and one click removes your address. You can also write to the address above.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. The deployment region is located in the European Union, so requests are served and functions executed there. Vercel acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
Operating the site produces server logs that may include your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request, and your browser and operating system. This data is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure and available. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The logs are short-lived and are not combined with your waitlist entry.
Email delivery
Confirmation and launch emails are sent through Resend, operated by Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. Your email address and subscription status are stored there so that the list can be managed and the messages delivered. Resend acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
This involves a transfer of your email address to the United States. The transfer is safeguarded by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses agreed with the provider. Despite these safeguards, a level of protection fully equivalent to the GDPR cannot be guaranteed for transfers to the United States, in particular regarding access by public authorities.
Analytics
If, and only if, you accept the analytics category in the cookie banner, we load Vercel Analytics. It records aggregated, anonymous page views to show whether the page is being read. It does not set cookies and does not build a profile of you. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time by changing your choice in the banner.
Cookies
We store one cookie, cc_cookie, which records the choice you made in the cookie banner so you are not asked again on every visit. It is strictly necessary to honour that choice, and the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No other cookies are set unless you consent to analytics.
How long we keep your data
Your email address is kept until you withdraw your consent, unsubscribe, or ask us to delete it, and is removed from the mailing list once you do. Addresses that are never confirmed remain inactive and receive no mail.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data (Art. 15), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable form (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). To exercise any of these, write to the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR. The authority responsible for us is:
